As mentioned in the Editorial changes are happening on May 1st when Edwards takes over many diagrams previously worked by South Gloucestershire. A fleet of new and nearly new coaches, based in Bristol will take these routes on. On April 21st BV66WPJ was noted on crew training in Swindon, so that confirms to me that all six are now in Bristol.
Meanwhile the double deck coaches on the A1 have been replaced by six new Volvo/Caetano tri-axles. (see below)

further batch of coaches for National Express duties are listed below.
Mike de Courcey has 13 of the tri-axle Scania Caetano coaches and National
Express Luton six similar coaches but with Volvo B11R chassis. These six replace
the double deck Caetanos which are transferring to Edwards and will take up
diagrams gained from South Gloucester Bus & coach. These due to start on May 1st.
